The reasons for secondary infertility seem to be the same as that of primary infertility. Since after your last pregnancy, you or your partner or both of you may have had one infection or the other, might have gained some weight, or have started eating junk food that is not healthy to the body.

These small variances in your lives can have a huge indirect effect on your reproductive health. Furthermore, if it has been some few years since you had a child last, your egg quality may have begin to decrease or your partner’s sperm may not be as healthy as it once was.

Secondary infertility may be experience because of the abnormalities of sperm and ejaculate due to infection or alcoholism. Other common reasons for secondary infertility may include: Endometriosis, Uterine Fibroids, Ovulation problems and pelvic adhesions.

First of all, at the age of 35, you have been having an unprotected and regular sex for one year but no conception, do not fail to seek a specialist advice.
