Sex supposed to be enjoyed during pregnancy and need to be done often to help and pave way for the baby during delivery.

In most cases, it is highly believe that you will stop having sex at any point during your pregnancy, which may cause your health care provider to recommend that you abstain from sex during pregnancy that is if you are facing any pregnancy complications such as miscarriage, placenta previa, preeclampsia etc. Other pregnancy complications include Pre-term labor, vaginal bleeding, incompetent cervix (that is when the opening of the uterus is weak or opens prematurely), pain during intercourse, infection etc.

Other Normal Sex Positions During Pregnancy

Spooning is one of the most popular sex positions during the late stages of pregnancy. This position may seem uncomfortable during pregnancy because it keeps the weight off your belly and allows for only shallow penetration. You and your partner lie on your sides, with your partner behind you, facing your back.

Rear entry is affectionately known as "doggy style," is a favorite sex position of many women during pregnancy. This is because it allows for deeper penetration and also gives you the opportunity to support your stomach and breasts. You get on all fours and, using pillows, support your stomach and chest. Your partner then stands or kneels behind you, and enters from behind.

Many couples forget that sex can also be performed in a sitting position more especially during pregnancy. Get your partner to sit in a sturdy chair and then straddle him. This will keep any added pressure off of your stomach, and allows for a very intimate experience.

Furthermore, try lying down face-up on the edge of the bed, with your legs spread and the soles of your feet on the floor also is one of the best sex positions during pregnancy. Your partner can stand or bend over you. This position, however, does allow him to thrust more deeply, in this case you'll have to tell him how gentle and slow you want him to be.

Oral and anal sex during pregnancy is also good as long as proper precaution is adhered to. The use of condom is allowed during anal sex but should be gently to prevent tearing of any rectal tissues.

Conclusively, under normal circumstances, sex during pregnancy is good but if you find out that sex during pregnancy is uncomfortable to you, try other sexual gratifications (oral sex and masturbation).

What Are The Normal Sex Positions During Pregnancy

In every woman’s life, sexual needs and desires change as the body changes during pregnancy. As the abdomen swells and the breast grows bigger, you find out that sex positions which are once comfortable and exciting becomes painful and unpleasant. The only thing to do is to try other sex positions with your partner so as to keep the comfort in your sex life.

Lots of women lose their sex desire late in pregnancy; it is not only because of their size but also they are preoccupied with the future delivery and the anticipation and excitement of becoming a new parent.

Thus, sex position like the woman on top is a great position as it takes the pressure off your abdomen and allows you as the woman to control the depth and frequency of push and power. This is sex position is enjoyed by both partners as it also gives the man great view opportunity.

Also, sideways sex position is also good during pregnancy in the sense that it keeps weight off your abdomen and supports your uterus at the same time since both of you lies on your sides facing each other. Also it helps both of you to be very intimate since you are facing each other.

Woman on back is also good thou not recommended after the fourth month of pregnancy whereby you should stop lying with your back as the weight of your uterus could block blood vessels that supply your leg and uterus. It is just like the missionary position only that there is no added pressure to your uterus or abdomen. You as the woman lie on your back and raise your knees up towards your chest. Your partner will then kneel between your legs and enters from the front. You can even add a pillow to your buttocks for more comforts and rest your feet on your partner’s chest for support.

Is Sex During Pregnancy Safe?

In the olden days, sex during pregnancy was as a taboo. But one thing is sure, expectant mothers are sexual beings and sex is important and natural part of pregnancy and also a wonderful way for couples to remain intimate during pregnancy.

That a woman is pregnant does not make her look sexy in the sight of her husband though there may be that fear and worry from both sides, fear that sex may cause harm to the baby or even cause miscarriage. For a normal pregnancy, sex is very much safe and needed more especially at the last weeks of pregnancy for it helps to reduce the risk of delivery of the baby too early.

Let us be frank, as your husband needs and finds you sexy so do you feel same about him, so why shying away from that, why not share your feelings and together and jeep the candle of love that brought you together burning and enjoy yourselves sexually with any position you feel is comfortable for both of you while the baby grows.

For sex during pregnancy, it is very much safe and acceptable, it is high time couples came out of that fear that the baby may be hurt, if there is no complication of any kind, go ahead and enjoy yourselves for sex will by no means harm your baby. Your baby is in a secluded place and is protected by the amniotic sac and also your abdomen. No infection will affect your baby for the mucus plug that closes the opening of your cervix helps to avoid any kind of infection.

The only approval you need is from your health care provider, as far as he or she approves it, go ahead and have your sexual intercourse until your due date for you may be asked to even have sex then so as to help natural labour to take place.

Can I Have Sex During Pregnancy

In the olden days, it was a taboo for a woman with pregnancy to engage herself in sexual activities. The reason is no other thing than the baby maybe hurt or that the pregnancy maybe tampered with. All these are old women’s feeble.

In the world today, sex during pregnancy is well accepted and contains low risk behaviour except when the doctor advised that sex should be avoided and that is in some pregnancy not all as it may cause pregnancy complications such as ruptured uterus or premature labour, which may come up due to difficulties in the previous child birth.

The reason why sex is necessary during pregnancy is because it is one of the symptoms that increase between 6 and 8 months or pregnancy most especially when some hormonal changes and physical discomforts such as nausea disappear.

In any pregnancy, women with love making partner or couples should continue to have sex so that they will be emotionally coordinated and confident of their appearance. Apart from being confidence of your appearance, having sex will also help you to have painless and quickened labour in the sense that sex during pregnancy is part of pelvic exercise that helps to pave way for the baby to come out without no much hitches.

Furthermore, when your pregnancy is normal, sex is considered normal in all stages, normal in the sense that there is low risk of complications such as premature labour, miscarriage. In case you are not sure of your pregnancy category contact your doctor.

In the case of high risk of complication, you and your partner have to be open to each other and talk about other means or ways whereby you can satisfy each other such as kissing, holding hands, caressing etc and also try other positions to know the most comfortable one to use.

How Can You Determine The Start Of Pregnancy And The Birth Date

The start or beginning of any pregnancy can be detected in various ways; one of them is pregnancy tests, which can be through urine or the blood. This test can be done either in the clinic or at home, which ever way; both tests can only detect the state of pregnancy and not the age of the pregnancy.

Pregnancy test is very important and necessary because it helps to detect the hormones that is generated by the placenta which is been formed newly as a result of the fertilization that just took place. To determine the start or beginning of any pregnancy is often convenient from the first day of your last menstruation (LMP) and this alone is can be used to calculate the Expected delivery date (EDD).

In a normal situation, your pregnancy is considered to last for at least 40 weeks starting from the Last Menstrual Period or 38 days from fertilization date. But in case of premature and post mature delivery, the case is difference in the sense that the baby comes as early as 37 weeks for premature delivery and as late as 43 weeks in case of postmature delivery or prolonged pregnancy.

There are some tests that determine the age of the pregnancy fairly accurate but to be sure and certain, last menstrual period (LMP) as reported by you as a woman typically expressed the age of your pregnancy but the exact date of fertilization may be unknown if your recent sexual activity is limited.

In a nut shell, for you to determine the beginning of your pregnancy depends on the missed period and your last menstrual period (LMP) and to determine the Expected Delivery Date is also determined by LMP as reported by you to you doctor. Since this is the case, you as a woman has to study your body very well and avoid any non-challant attitude towards your cycle so as to be accurate in all your reports to enable you have exact date of delivery.

How Do I Know The Symptoms Of Pregnancy

Symptom is a change in the body function experienced by a patient, which is associated with a particular disease. But in the case of pregnancy, disease should not be mentioned because it is the fetus that is causing the changes and discomforts.

Symptoms of pregnancy vary from one woman to the other. It is not all symptoms that is been felt in all pregnancy, what a particular woman feels may be entirely difference from what you are going to see from this, but no matter how it comes always bear in mind that it will be over soon.

The stages in pregnancy are divided into trimesters, that is 1st, 2nd, and 3rd which is the last stage before delivery takes place. Before you talk of pregnancy symptom, you must first or all miss your period and go for test to discover that you are really pregnancy.

What Are The Early Signs Of Pregnancy

Just as body reaction differs so are pregnancy signs. Some women may experience signs of pregnancy within some days of pregnancy but some stay up to weeks before such experience may occur while in some women pregnancy signs may not occur at all.

Early pregnancy signs differ from one woman to the other and from pregnancy to the other. For you to understand the signs of your pregnancy is very important in the sense that the signs you are having may be related to something else other than pregnancy.

However, missed menstrual period is one of the most common pregnancy signs that lead a woman to undergo test of pregnancy. When you conceive, you will not expect to see your next period though many women bleed while they are pregnant but if you fall into this category you will find out that the bleeding will be lighter and shorter than your normal period.

Implantation bleeding is also one of the early signs of pregnancy meanwhile the embryo implants itself into the uterine wall after conception thereby causing you to experience some cramping and spotting which may be pink in colour.

Frequent urination as one of the early pregnancy signs occurs in some women even before they missed their period. This happens because the changes in hormone levels that is produced by implantation of embryo. Also, increase in body temperature is also one of the early pregnancy signs.

All things being equal, if you begin to experience any of the signs listed above, you better confirm if it is pregnancy by going for urine test or carryout home pregnancy tests yourself. After all these and you still test negative, try again the test again or to be in a safer side, see your gynecologists.

How You Can Determine The Start Of Your Pregnancy

Pregnancy use to occur soon after the sperm of a man might have fertilized the egg released by a woman। Medically, this is called fertilization and conception to a lay-man’s understanding।

The man’s sperm cannot just fertilize your egg as the woman without having sexual intercourse with you, though the coming of insemination of sperm artificially to the woman’s womb while ovulating to become pregnant has made it easier if there is any existing medical condition in either of the couples or if you as a woman decided to be pregnant without a man partner।

In addition, pregnancy starts at implantation of spermatozoon to the egg and it is often convenient to start counting it from the first day of your last menstrual period (LMP) and it will be of a good help to you while calculating your expected delivery date (EDD)।

You can detect the beginning of your pregnancy in various ways through the use of various pregnancy tests that detect hormones which is generated by the placenta that is formed newly। Urine test can also be used to detect if pregnancy has occurred soon after implantation or fertilization and this can be done as early as 5-8 days after fertilization.

Always have in mind that neither home nor clinical tests can detect the age of the pregnancy। The only thing they detect is the state of the pregnancy. As woman, do not depend on home test if you really want to know the age of your pregnancy.

To actually determine or know if pregnancy has occurred, you need to stick and be certain about your menstrual date based on the first day of your last menstrual period for it is the most common educated way to estimate the real age of your pregnancy.

What You Need To Know About Pregnancy

Pregnancy can be said to be the carrying of one or more offspring inside the body of a female or woman be from conception to birth. Among all the mammals, human pregnancy is the most studied of all. Pregnancy can be multiple in the sense that twins or triplets may occur.

Pregnancy lasts for about nine months, which means that the birth of the child occurs in 38 to 40 weeks from the day of fertilization. Medically the term embryo is used to describe the developing human for few weeks of fertilization and fetus is used for the same purpose from 2 to 3 months of development till birth.

Pregnancy is divided into three periods (1st, 2nd & 3rd Trimester). This helps to simplify and also refer to the different stages of prenatal development. The first trimmest has the highest risk of miscarriages, while the development of the fetus can be easily to be diagnosed and monitored in the 2nd trimester. The ability of the fetus to survive with or without medical help outside the mother’s uterus is determined at the beginning of the third trimester.

Medically, gravid 1 is used to qualify a woman who is pregnant for the first time while gravid 0 is used for a woman who has never been pregnant that means that Para 1 or 0 and other terms are used to qualify the number of times a woman has gotten pregnant or given birth to a child.

In conclusion, feelings vary from one woman to another in pregnancy. You as a pregnant woman should not have in mind that since your friends’ pregnancy is somehow that yours will be that way. All you need to do is to take time to study your body terms and languages for it will help you a lot.

What If Pregnancy Did Not Occur As Quickly As You Thought

In case if pregnancy did not occur as quickly as you thought, do not panic. Firstly, remember that if you recently discontinued the use of oral contraceptives, it may take at least a month for your cycle to get back to normal.

That you conceived your first child as quickly as possible does not necessarily mean that pregnancy will be easy as that of your second and even your third child. Women under 30 you are therefore advised to give yourself a year of unprotected sex for pregnancy to occur. But the reverse is the case when you are older because the risk of pregnancy increases after having unprotected sex for months.

For women who are smokers, they may find it more difficult waiting for pregnancy to occur. Further-more, several studies shows that women smokers have increase rate of miscarriages

But there is no reason to panic, just make it a point of duty to seek medical advice as soon as possible. In this aspect it is necessary for women who aged 30 to 35 to see a doctor that is after six to nine months of unprotected sex. And for women between 35 and 40, they should see doctor after six months of unprotected sex.

Finally for women over 40, they should try and see doctor after three months of unprotected sex.In conclusion, your doctor or gynecologist should be able to perform a preliminary fertility workup. He or she may even be able to treat your problem of infertility, but after all said and done and pregnancy did not occur under your doctor's care within the range of six months of unprotected sex, women involved should not hesitate in seeing a fertility specialist, who may help them take the advantage plethora advice of new available treatments that can boost your chances of pregnancy.

How Often Do I Have Sex Before Getting Pregnant

Long time ago, it is our believe that a man should abstain from sex for several days before his wife's fertile time so as to be able to build up enough sperm count that will be able to fertilize his wife’s egg. Though some part of this presumption and many studies have shown that the more frequently a man have sex and ejaculates over a period of days, the lower his sperm count.

But in recent time, it appears that the former does not matter. Though your spouse’ sperm count may get lower the more often he has sex, it is still plenty and high enough to achieve pregnancy. To cut every thing short, the more sex you have, the greater chances you have in getting pregnant.

Then the question may be, does it mean that I need to make love every day to maximize my baby-making potential or my chances of getting pregnant? The answer here is “No”. The reason is because most couples who had sex every other day during their fertile days still have greater and very high chances of getting pregnant. Moreover, couples who have sex weekly reduced their chances of conception or getting pregnant because they were more likely to miss the key towards baby-making opportunity.

To crown it all, having regular sex is the best way to get pregnant. For the fact that couples often try to time everything perfectly towards ovulation, they fail to have sex when they think they are not ovulating. Though sex that is not within the time of ovulation will not result in pregnancy but because women do not always ovulate when they think they will, having sex three times a week will help you as a woman to cover your bases and not to miss the opportunity of getting pregnant.

When Do I Have Sex To Become Pregnant

Having sex is a normal routine in every marriage, but the specific sex for pregnancy does not come easily as we think. To become pregnant, the very first thing you need to do is to checkout when you are most fertile in every menstrual cycle.

A woman's fertile period lasts for six days that is the five days leading up to your ovulation period and the day of ovulation in every cycle of the month, that is about midway between menstrual cycles, when an egg or eggs are released from one or two of your ovaries. For the fact that sperm lives up to five days, even the old sperm can fertilize an egg or both eggs in case if the two ovaries releases eggs at the same time. If you have sex at those times, you may become pregnant.

Some gynecologists states that, having sex every day between days 10 and 18 of your cycle will help a lot in getting pregnant since this is the time during which ovulation occurs (that is counting the first day of your menstruation or period as day 1).

In the other way round, detecting of changes in your cervical mucus helps a lot in getting pregnant in the sense that, at the beginning of the menstrual cycle, this mucus is tacky and dense, but within the time of ovulation it becomes increasingly plentiful and slippery, with qualities very similar to the white of a raw egg. By this time, if you have sex, you may become pregnant.

Anyway, there is no need to get more worries about getting pregnant because it puts too much pressure on the process. The best thing to do is to simply have sex slightly before the time you think your ovulation may occur in each cycle so as to avoid hurting your efforts towards when to ovulate, have sex or get pregnant.

How Do I Get Pregnant

Lack of knowledge does not always help your efforts, but it adds unwanted frustration and atimes delay. For example, most women assume that immediately they stop using birth control, they will conceive or get pregnant, while some thinks that if becoming pregnant with their first child was as simple as that, it will work easily the second time, but When it doesn't work as planned, they panics. For you to visit your gynecologist helps to clear up some confusion in the sense that he/she helps to prescribe some tests or drugs which you have to undergo before you gets pregnant.

In trying to get pregnant, timing matters a great deal. Increasing your chances of getting pregnant needs you to have sexual intercourse during your fertile time in each of your cycle. You may be wondering when your fertile days are. A woman’s fertile days comes during mid cycle ovulation. There are many ways to know when you are fertile, either by observing the cervical mucus or by counting days.

For a woman to successfully get pregnant, you must have intercourse in those fertile days starting from two to three days before your ovulation. And when the sperm gets to the cervix, the cervical mucus that is present in your vagina and cervix sustains the sperm to a perfect condition, which makes it (the sperm) to live or stay up to three days before ovulation. Since sperm may live up to five days, even the old sperm can fertilize an egg, although it's under probability.

For you as a woman to achieve pregnancy, you need to observe your most fertile days by observing the fertile mucus or by counting your mid cycle days, once you have sex those days, the mucus will be able to sustain the sperm and pregnancy may take place. By getting this timing of fertile day’s right, you will go a long way in achieving you aims.

How Long Should I Chart Before Seeing A Doctor If I Suspect Infertility?

Temperature fluctuates while moving around, for this reason, the best time to take your temperature is in the morning immediately you wake up. Body temperature can be taking digitally or traditionally, anyhow you want it but make sure that the same thermometer is used throughout your cycle.

Infertility can be defined as not being able to get pregnant after having unprotected sexual intercourse for a period of one year. In other-words, infertility means not being able to carry a pregnancy at all or to its due time.

Some women have not tasted the joy of being pregnant due to some irregularities in their cycle while some have passed through series of miscarriages due to infections, fibroids or other problems they cannot explain, which leads to infertility.

In this case, if your cycles are irregular, you shouldn’t waste time on body base temperature alone, kindly see a doctor and find out what may be causing the irregularity, for infertility may not be the case of your problem but other things you may not take seriously.

In other hand, you do have normal-length cycles and decide to start charting your body temperature; you only need to wait about three (3) months to establish a problem before seeking for help. For instant, if you have 28 days cycle, but ovulate on day 18, and that happens two to three (2-3) months in a row, you should see your doctor. If otherwise your case of infertility may depend on your age and urgency.

Mind you, seeking a physician’s advice is not a bad idea for everyone seeking for preconception advice, do not rely only on body temperature, if it needs to undergo series of tests; it is for your benefit so as to be sure from where the case of infertility is coming from.

Should I See A Doctor To Know The Cause Of My Infertility

The word infertility has no easy answer, and the reason why it is so hard for some women to conceive is another question that has a difficult answer but in most cases, factors like, ovulation, cervical, fibroids etc are the definite causes of their infertility.

One in every six couples faces the problem and difficulties in conception. Infertility is a couple's problem, and is commonly due to some contribution from both the male and female partners. Most atimes, the male contributes a significant part of the fertility problem though women being at the receiving side take all the blame. In starting the process of trying to conceive, the most important thing to do is to study and know your own body, of which your doctor will be a helping hand.

Seeking the idea of a fertility specialist when you have troubles conceiving or problem of infertility is a good and important idea. It is easier for women under 30 to conceive but if you are under 35 and have been having regular and unprotected sex for a year but have not been able to conceive, make an appointment with your doctor or a fertility specialist.

If otherwise, that is, you are over 35, and then start investigating the issue of infertility after six months of regular and unprotected sex. However, there are times when you should make appointment with the fertility specialist sooner and earlier.

In other-words, if you have experienced two or more miscarriages, have especially painful periods or have irregular periods, experienced an unusual increase or a burning vaginal discharge, or if your partner is experiencing a decrease in his sex drive, impotence or painful ejaculations, then make an appointment with fertility specialist or gynecologist sooner. These indications that causes infertility or delay in conception needs medical attention before a successful conception can occur.

What Will You Benefit In Charting Your Temperature Towards Fertility?

Fertility as already defined is the ability to produce healthy offspring in abundance. In a woman’s fertility years, she will like to produce as much as she can before menopause catches up with her.

Taking your waking body temperature can give you information that is very helpful if you are trying to conceive. If you are not pregnant your temperature will reflect two phases during a cycle, three phases if conception has occurred. Your temperatures will vary (rise and fall) during your monthly cycle but increases during your fertility periods.

Temperature can be lower in the first phase, higher in the second phase and higher still in the third phase once implantation takes place. The rise in temperature from the first phase to the second phase is caused from ovulation that is most fertile time. Your temperature rises only AFTER ovulation has taken place.

Charting temperatures alone without using cervical fluid and position DOES NOT indicate when your fertility time is (before ovulation) until after ovulation has occurred, which is too late. Therefore we recommend that all indicators are charted to give a more efficient reading of fertility.

The tendency of a woman to have higher temperatures before ovulation or lower temperatures is called biphasic .Charting of the body temperature therefore creates awareness towards fertility. The rise in temperatures can most commonly be seen the day after ovulation, but this varies and body temperature can only be used to estimate ovulation (most fertile day) within a three day range.

Note that each temperature that is not taken at the normal or usual time (fertility periods) has to be adjusted so as to get you close to what your temperature would have been.

Charting Your Body Temperature Towards Fertility

To chart your Body Temperature, Cervical Fluid and Cervical Position helps you to indicate when you are most fertile during your monthly cycle. Charting gives you crucial information as to when your peak (most fertile) time is, when you have ovulated, when your menstrual period should begin, if you have successfully conceived or if there is a possibility of a hormonal imbalance.Taking your body temperature mostly in the morning hours is the first step to charting.

Your normal temperature towards fertility should be taken starting from the day one of your cycle, is the first day you begin your menstrual period. Your temperature can rise and fall or maintain same degree if taken earlier than normal time. For you to get normal and accurate chart, it is important to take your temperature at the same time everyday that is maintaining the actual time say every 6am.

Taking your temperature immediately after waking up is very important meanwhile your temperature fluctuates once you are moving around. If you wake up during the middle of the night and you go back to sleep and get at least three additional hours of uninterrupted sleep, your temperature will be accurate. If you wake up less than three hours before your normal scheduled waking time and have to get up for any reason, it is advisable to take your temperature then that is before you get out of bed and not at your normal waking time.

In taking your temperature, make sure you use same thermometer throughout the cycle whether digital thermometer or traditional glass as the case maybe. It can also be taken vaginally or orally but make sure you adhere to it throughout the cycle.

Why Do I Have Secondary Infertility Now?

The reasons for secondary infertility seem to be the same as that of primary infertility. Since after your last pregnancy, you or your partner or both of you may have had one infection or the other, might have gained some weight, or have started eating junk food that is not healthy to the body.

These small variances in your lives can have a huge indirect effect on your reproductive health. Furthermore, if it has been some few years since you had a child last, your egg quality may have begin to decrease or your partner’s sperm may not be as healthy as it once was.

Secondary infertility may be experience because of the abnormalities of sperm and ejaculate due to infection or alcoholism. Other common reasons for secondary infertility may include: Endometriosis, Uterine Fibroids, Ovulation problems and pelvic adhesions.
Seeking for a fertility specialist advice is the best when you find it difficult to conceive after you might have had your first baby. Sitting and waiting for it to just happen cannot solve the problem.

First of all, at the age of 35, you have been having an unprotected and regular sex for one year but no conception, do not fail to seek a specialist advice. Secondly, if you are above 35 start your investigation six months after having regular and unprotected sex. But if you feel it’s taking long, you can do that earlier. Thirdly, if you have experienced irregular or unusual painful periods, or that your partner is experience painful ejaculation or decrease in sex drive, this is an indication that you need medical attention before you can conceive.

Entertain no fear when undergoing secondary infertility or even any kind of infertility; the only thing to do is to seek medical advice from specialists before taking any other action.

Where Do I Belong; Secondary or Primary Infertility

The word Infertility means the inability of a man or woman to contribute to conception. It may also be referred to as the state of a woman who is unable to carry a pregnancy to full term (9-10months). There are many causes of this fame called infertility, some which may be bypassed with medical intervention and some which are for life.

Most women who are fertile experience natural period of fertility before and during ovulation , and they are naturally infertile during the rest of the menstrual cycle. This fertility awareness method is been used to know or discern when lots of changes occur; by checking and observing changes in cervical mucus or body temprature.

There are two types of infertility; Primary Infertility and Secondary Infertility.

Primary infertility can be defined as inability to get pregnant with your first baby through natural or artificial means.

Secondary infertility is referred to as difficulty conceiving after successfully completing a first pregnancy. This type of infertility is often a surprise to women since they have previously had a child without difficulty.
Most people believe that once you had one child, you have proved yourself to be fertile and will therefore have no problem conceiving the second time or in the future. Secondary infertility is so common that there is up to 50% cases of it, yet, many fail to see this type of infertility as a problem that needs urgent and proper solution.

Just like those experiencing primary infertility (that is when a couple is unable to conceive for the first time), couples that are affected by secondary infertility are much likely to get infertility treatment. This is because of the misconception that once you’re fertile, you’ll always be or remain fertile.

Now that you have known your stand and the group you fall into, do not wait for fertility to happen naturally, seek medical advice in both ways, then wait, for it will one day happen.

How Do I Know My Most Fertile Days

Fertile days within monthly cycle are few days before ovulation occurs. What make those days fertile is the type of cervical fluid that is been produced by the hormone estrogen. When the fluid is fertile, it will be able to keep sperm alive until the egg is released or dropped for fertilization to take place.

Within the six fertile days of each cycle, the probability of conception is lowest on the first day and high in the rest of the days. This is most relevant for the earliest days in the menstrual cycle, which is the most likely to be the earliest and least fertile day of the cycle.

Fertile days are days that there is possibility for conception. Within the fertile days there is a peak day which is the most fertile day of all. If you should have sex during your fertile time or day and insured that you hit the peak day, you will greatly enhance your ability to conceive.

To identify your fertile days or times during a monthly cycle can be done by thorough checking and observing changes from your body like seeing milky, creamy or lotion like cervical fluid, which is accompanied by wet vaginal awareness. The last day of milky, creamy or lotion like fluid can be considered your peak day If you do not produce egg white cervical fluid. When using the waking body temperatures or cervical position, it is easier to know when your fluid is becoming more fertile. Temperatures may start to fall, your cervix will start to rise and become soft and open.

Be warned that having sex during the fertile days is not sufficient to produce pregnancy. Here, pregnancy depends on the viability of the sperm and egg, the receptivity and good condition of the uterus, and other factors which varies among couples.

How You Can Take Charge Of Your Fertility

Taking charge of your fertility is a guide that explains the relationship between your cycle, which includes menstruation, fertility, conception, and birth control. Most couples have successfully conceived and some have avoided conception by going through one method or the other. A method that works for a couple may or may not work for another due to body differences.

Many women are most fertile during ovulation, which occurs between the 14th and 16th day of any, menstrual cycle though the exact time of fertility or ovulation varies among women due to differences in the length of menstrual cycle. Women are fertile seven days in each menstrual cycle, which means that ovulation occurs in the fourteenth day of every cycle, which is obviously the most fertile time for any female.

Both men and women have hormonal cycles which determine fertility days and time. Women cycle is between twenty four and twenty-eight days long, but the men cycle varies. Men can ejaculate and produce sperm at any time of the month, but their sperm quality drops occasionally due to stress, lack of good food, infection etc.

For fertilization to take place, the sperm and egg of a woman must unite in the fallopian tube where the egg is captured during ovulation. The greatest time of this action occurs in the first 12 hours but your egg of a woman can be fertilized by sperm for up to 72 hours (3 days) after ejaculation. The egg moves and implants into the uterus two to four days after it is been fertilized by sperm.

To take charge of your fertility, you have to observe your fertile days by learning how to interpret your body signals. You apply charting method instead of guessing method. For a man, quality sperms should be produced, to accomplish this, in-take of good food and lots of rest should be taken into consideration.

Know When To Commence Sex / Love Making After Having A Baby

After having a baby, sex seems like a fond but in a distance memory. A woman feels as if she will never have sex again.

She feels exhausted and overwhelmed in the first six to seven weeks after delivery especially when she had tears and stitches or having delivered through a surgical cut between the vagina and the anus to enlarge her vaginal opening (episiotomy).

If this is a problem of any woman, you need not to worry; the only thing to do is to take your time, give yourself a break, and do not rush into it until you are ready.

On average, some couples resume intercourse (sex) six to seven weeks after having a baby. Most women who had cesarean sections had a better chance of having intercourse sooner than those who gave birth through the vagina.

One way to encourage your partner to show affection with you is to augment or reinforce the behaviors or characters you like.

Things like; I’ve realize you love me whenever we hold hands and kiss while we're watching television even though I'm not ready for sex. Or I love it when you stroke my hair.

You may even ask for nonsexual massages or foot rubs. Your partner should know that you appreciate his touch outside lovemaking, and that a kiss on the back of your neck while you're tending your baby sends excitement and shivers (the good kind) down your spine.
When the couple thinks the time is right, they should go for it, but should take it slow and easy; also it keeps the sense of humor. To avoid been rushed through lovemaking, the best time is after your baby is well fed and she's likely to sleep for at least an hour. Using a lubricant (usually found near the condoms helps also to reduce any discomfort that might be felt from the dryness of the vagina.

The consumption of vegetables, grains, fruits, and calcium-rich foods such as; cheese, yogurt and milk every day boosts the chances of conceiving. Certain vitamins and nutrients such as folic acid, vitamins C and E, and zinc are also important for making healthy sperm.

Though you can have most if not all of your nutritional needs through a balanced diet, experts’ advice that even the healthiest eaters needs extra help. You may find it particularly hard to eat well when you're at work or parenting other children, so taking a prenatal vitamin ensures that you are getting enough nutrients to boost your chances of conceiving.

While you adhere to a good and smart eating plan with high-fiber foods and low-fat, start or increase an exercise routine. If you're overweight, aim to lose one to two pounds a week, a safe rate of weight loss. Extreme weight loss from crash dieting can exhaust your body's nutritional stores, which is not a good way to start a pregnancy.
